Building Regulations and Fire

Europe

The European fire approval confirms that FeelingWood satisfies the fire class “Euroclass E”.

Germany

The German fire approval confirms that FeelingWood satisfies a “B2” classification.

Denmark

The Danish building regulations are by far more restrictive than the ones in other countries. In Denmark cellulose materials – including wood fibre insulation - are classified as inflammable materials.

The Danish building regulations require that such materials are installed behind a cover which satisfies requirements corresponding to a BD-30 construction of at least class 2 on the outside (for example two layers of gypsum).
